Our Story

Founded in 2011 by a small group from the international banking sector, the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce (AWTCC) was created to simplify and modernize U.S. export documentation. What began as an effort to streamline certification workflows has evolved into a nationwide network supporting chamber-issued export documentation through participating local, regional, and state Chambers of Commerce.

Building on our first decade of experience, since 2021 we have expanded our focus — deploying platform solutions, strengthening global partnerships, and scaling services that help exporters move goods across borders more efficiently and with fewer compliance barriers.

AWTCC is a founding organization within the nationwide Chamber Certification™ network, delivered through participating Chambers of Commerce and trusted by exporters, freight forwarders, and global trade management (GTM) software providers worldwide in support of U.S. exports.

Participating chambers are equipped to deliver trusted certification services locally and support export growth within their communities.
